Sheet Metal Fabrication
Sheet metal fabrication entails physical modification of flat sheets of various metals that are cut, formed, welded and finished. DSI specializes in both sheet metal prototypes and low-volume production, as well as high-volume sheet metal fabrication. Our facility has state-of-the-art equipment incorporating the latest in fabrication technology. With fiber optic laser cutting machines, automated press brakes and robotic welders, DSI is able to ensure cost efficient runs as well as high precision quality.
Laser Cutting

stamping / punching
Metal stamping is a process where flat coil or blank form sheet metal is fed into a steel stamping press with a punch and die.
Forming / Bending
Forming is the process of bending sheet metal. The most important piece of equipment used in the forming process is called a press brake.
Welding
Welding services are the cornerstone of our fabrication shop. We have eight manual welding bays staffed by highly trained experts in MIG and TIG welding.
Finishing
After we have cut, formed and welded your project, we have a dedicated team of finishers that provide metal or stainless-steel cleaning grinding, deburring, and timesaving capabilities.
Powder coating
DSI offers high-quality, in-house powder coating capabilities to meet the needs of our most demanding customers.
Assembly
If your project requires hinges, interlocking components, brackets, or enhanced security components that need to be assembled prior to shipment.
