Joe Hines started working for DSI in 1984 - 2 years after the company was established by his father, Jack. Joe's duties then were sales and helping in the shop to learn all aspects of the business.

Tony Hines worked with DSI part-time while he was in High School. After graduating in 1986, Tony attended Anoka Vo-Tech for a year. He then went to work full-time for DSI in 1987.
