  Yes—we frequently machine plastics like PVC, Peek, Teflon, Delrin. We also handle most carbon-fiber composites, though special tooling and testing may be needed.

  It’s most cost-effective when batch quantities exceed ~500 units—thanks to its efficiency in high-volume, tight-tolerance runs.

• Can you support quick-turn prototypes?
  Absolutely—our RRC (Rapid Response Cell) and rapid prototyping services are purpose-built for that.

• Is powder coating in-house?
  Yes—DSI has Parker Ionics powder systems, Rapid Engineering ovens (6 × 9 × 10 feet), PEM two-stage washing, and manual cleaning systems for parts up to 12 feet long.
